Panda Express Sweet Fire Chicken Breast (CopyCat) Recipe

Ingredients

boneless skinless chicken breasts
cut into 1 in. pieces
1
cup
pineapple chunks
1
large bell pepper
chopped
1
cup
sweet chili sauce
more if preferred
1
large onion
chopped
3
garlic cloves
minced

cup
flour
1/2
cup
cornstarch
Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
In a bowl, coat the chicken pieces egg.
Mix flour and cornstarch. (optional: Season flour with garlic powder and white pepper.
Evenly coat chicken with flour mixture.
Heat vegetable oil in a pan for frying.
Fry the coated chicken until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
In a separate pan, sauté bell pepper, onion, and pineapple until slightly tender.
Add in garlic, and sauté until fragrant.
Add in the cooked chicken. Add the sauce and mix well.
Bring to a simmer.
Serve over rice and with a side of Super Greens and enjoy your homemade Sweet Fire Chicken!
Note: Adjust the sweetness or spiciness according to your taste preferences. Add red pepper flakes if more spice is preferred.
