Recipe Tips
Marinating Time: For maximum flavor infusion, allow the chicken to marinate in the honey and BBQ seasoning mixture for at least 30 minutes. This step enhances the taste and tenderness of the chicken skewers.
Basting Technique: When basting the chicken with BBQ sauce during cooking, use a brush to evenly coat each skewer. This ensures a deliciously caramelized exterior and locks in moisture for juicy, succulent chicken.
Soaking Skewers: To prevent wooden skewers from burning in the air fryer, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes before threading the chicken. This helps maintain their integrity throughout the cooking process, ensuring perfectly cooked skewers without any unwanted charred bits.
