Hey Y’all! I’m Dasha.
Mother, Author, and Foodie.
For years, I’ve been sharing quick, family-friendly recipes for busy parents who want to create meals that each member of their family can enjoy, and doing so without blowing the budget. Now, I’m thrilled to bring a little of that magic into the world of children’s books, with my debut book Biscuits for Santa.
From Recipe Videos to a Holiday Story
As a content creator, I’ve always shared recipes that reflect real-life moments, especially for families who need practical, easy ideas. For me, baking biscuits has always been a way to share warmth and make others feel at home. Last year, as the holidays rolled around, I decided to do something different for Santa. Instead of the usual cookies, I baked biscuits—because, honestly, I enjoy making biscuits much more, and sometimes, I don’t have the ingredients for cookies! I shared a video about it, encouraging families to start their own traditions. Sometimes, the smallest change can make a holiday feel truly ours.
That simple choice sparked the idea for Biscuits for Santa—a story for families like mine who want to make the season magical in their own way, creating traditions that fit who they are. This book reflects everything I love about sharing recipes and making memories, capturing the heart of holiday traditions made with love and shared around the table. Biscuits for Santa is my way of showing that the holidays can be about doing what feels warm and meaningful to us, even if it’s something as simple as making biscuits instead of cookies.
